How To Be Cool

Having a sense of style is key to being cool

We spend a lot of time talking about taking the right pictures, writing your profile and sending emails. But what we don’t talk enough about is something a lot of us struggle with, and is a key factor in our success with women—how to be cool. “Coolness” is one of those things that we can immediately recognize in other people, but don’t always see in ourselves.

Being “cool” makes you more attractive to women, and it’s what you try to portray in your online dating profile. The picture of you diving off a cliff in Costa Rica? Cool. The story you tell in your profile about learning to surf on vacation in San Diego? Cool. How you punched out a guy who was pushing his girlfriend around at the 7-11? You guessed it—cool.

It’s a trait that we’re laying as an underlying theme in your profile, and there are some specific things you can do to increase your cool factor.

One of the major elements to being cool is having a sense of style. Being well dressed, well groomed and carrying yourself well has two incredible benefits: women find it extremely attractive, and it increases your self-confidence tremendously. And we all know that self-confidence is one of the biggest turn-ons for women.

I recently came across a great resource for style that I want to share with you. It’s a site called Alpha M Image Consulting, and there is a ton of free information that covers everything from matching the right colors together to trimming your eyebrows. And yes, guys you do need to trim your eyebrows.

These are short videos that go over a lot of things that you have always wondered about but were either too embarrassed to admit or didn’t know where to find the answer. Problem solved. Nobody’s going to know that you searched on the web to learn that the right brown shoes really do go well with a black suit…they’re just going to think you look really good and have a great sense of style.

You don’t have to be the best looking guy in the world, but what you do need to do is look that best that you can look. A bad hairstyle, mismatched clothes and bushy eyebrows won’t cut it, and they’ll come across in your pictures.

These are things you don’t have to spend a ton of money on. Most of them are free (there’s even a tutorial on cutting your own hair). Check out this one about finding great clothes at thrift stores:

Anywho, I wanted to share this great resource with you. I don’t know the guy or have any affiliation with him; he’s just the best I’ve found so far in regards to style for men. Take a look at his stuff and let me know what you think.

If you’re struggling with taking good pictures for your profile, click here to get some great tips from our site. Once you get your style down, of course!
