Online Dating Profile Pictures—Google image search busted me

My Favorite Profile Picture Got Me Busted

Online dating profile pictures can be searched, and if you have that picture up in more than one place, you can give your real identity away!
Okay, I’m busted.

I may never get another date on an online dating site again.

Let me explain…

So you remember awhile back when I told you about that little 28 year old model who things were going great with?

She sent me a first email.

I responded.

She gave me her number in her next message.

Things were going just how they are supposed to. Picture perfect.

I called her and we made a date for the next night.

But about 3:00 that afternoon, only 4 hours before we were supposed to meet…

She texts me and cancels the date!!!

Now I’ve been around a little bit and I can read a girl pretty well but I couldn’t figure out why in the hell I lost her.

Well, I sent her a few emails… only because she wouldn’t respond to my texts… and I find out that she Googled my profile picture.

Yes, Google has this awesome new feature where you can search for an image. All you do is copy the URL of the image, or upload it from your computer, and Google will find matching images.

Soooo…

This is what my young beauty found when she Googled my online dating profile picture.…

An online dating profile picture search shows I have two dating blogs. Two too many for most women.

Yeah… not so good.

See the links to those pictures?!?

Busted!!! 🙂

She discovers that I have 2 different blogs, one specifically on online dating. The other shows guys how to seduce women in their everyday life.

LOL!!! 🙂

It’s not the end of the world. I mean all the women I end up dating know I have the blogs. I tell them the first date, but it’s a lot harder to recover from something like this when you haven’t met the person in person yet.

So I lost her. Bummer too, because besides being hot, she was a really interesting person.

But, it doesn’t stop there…

You know I don’t like doing any more work than necessary when it comes to meeting women, so I just left the picture on my profile.

Well, a couple of days ago when I was writing that post about the good and bad things about my products and had to cut the post short to go on a date….

Guess what happened?

Yep. You’re right…

She Googled my profile picture too.

Except that she was into me enough that she didn’t care, and she was actually fascinated by my take on women.

She said she knew there was something different about me because she usually never likes a guy as fast as she liked me. And she wanted to “figure me out”.

The date went really well, and she got what she wanted. But it looks like I’m going to have to find another main profile picture.

And guys, for you this means that if you have your profile picture on a regular website, a girl can do this same search for you and find out things you don’t want her to know.

Oh, and don’t worry, the search won’t find your social media pictures from places like FaceBook and Twitter and it won’t show up in other dating sites either. Thank goodness!!

JT out. Talk to you soon!

Oh, and speaking of profile pictures, here are my best posts on online dating profile pictures.
