Using Online Dating Videos To Attract More Women

One of my readers sent me a link yesterday to a site describing online dating videos and I thought using video in your online dating profile was a pretty good idea so I wanted to let you know about it.

Anything that gives us an edge on a dating site is going to be valuable to us, and I think it’ll be worth your time to make a quick video and put it up on YouTube. It’s something we ought to consider anyway…

Basically, what you do is set up a video on a site that supports it… and most don’t by the way.

But, there is an easy way around that. All you do is put a link in your online dating profile to the video. Have the video set up on YouTube, Vimeo, or where ever you host your videos. You might want to set up a different account on those sites just for your online dating.

So in addition to everything else we have going on here at Online Dating Mastery, we are going to give it a try. Maybe not in the next few days, but for sure when I get back from Texas (I got an invitation to the Skybox to watch the Cowboys play!) early next month.

In the meantime, I wanted to introduce using an online dating video in addition to your regular profile. Especially since this might end up being a great way to differentiate yourself in your online dating profile.

And you have to check out this guy’s video just for kicks. It’s a great example of how NOT to think, and what not to say on your profile or on a dating site video. It’s hard to believe this guy is serious.

As you can see this guy is a piece of work and a great example of what not to do. And I’m not saying this based on his looks alone, but his attitude and approach towards finding a girl on the PlentyofFish dating site. Basically the vibe that this second dude displays is one of neediness and helplessness. It’s very hard to respect someone who whines and complains about not being able to find a date, as if he is somehow entitled to a date just because he is a nice guy. I’m sorry but this is not a good approach.
Done right, online dating videos could really set you apart from the crowd, especially since not many people are doing this kind of approach; and since it has the ability for capturing and holding a prospects attention much more than a simple picture or page of profile text. From Matt Savage
